Watch: Devon Harp Centre, Totnes (27th May 2016)

As promised, you can watch my Totnes gig on YouTube! It was wonderful performing with such awesome musicians. In the end, the event had 400 musicians including the British Jazz musician Courtney Pine (probably Britain's most famous saxophonist). I had a great time and many thanks to my dad for recording the videos.

Upcoming Gig: Devon Harp Centre, Totnes (27th May 2016)

So far, I've been hard at work preparing for a gig at the Devon Harp Centre. I'd always been used to recording my music in my bedroom, thanks to the wonders of the accessability of YouTube. Getting more experience performing live is something I've been wanting to do for a while now, so if you're around, please feel free to pop in. I'll be performing with Misuzu Matsumoto, who also happens to be my harp teacher, as well as her talented daughter, Hana Caley. We'll be playing 30 minutes each and I've planned to have 8 songs in total. It will be quite a casual gig, so you can come in and out whenever you wish. I'm looking forward to it and hopefully I'll be able to upload some photos and videos on here after the event!

New Release: 'Vivo Revenis' ft. Shadow Dreamer

Hey guys! It's good to be back. I feel like I say that every time and then disappear for ages again... hopefully that won't be the case this time. I asked Alex to work with me on this aptly named track from the original Final Fantasy game. The original song (you guessed it) is the track that plays whenever you visit a church. I remember my party seemed to get KO'd a whole lot and back in the days before phoenix downs were a thing, you had to go to a church and pay a fee to have your characters revived. I didn't really mind though because I enjoyed listening to this song so much. I always envisioned a choral version with some lyrics in Latin or something, almost sang like a prayer or a spell to revive your character. I decided to write some lyrics in Esperanto instead and this is the result. I should also mention that this is my first ukulele and I've owned it for less then a week... however Alex is an incredible pianist and I managed to persuade him to start uploading content for YouTube, so he could do with an audience. I recommend his channel to every single one of you! ^_^
